Mohammed Said Al-Abri has over 20 years’ experience in the capital market and financial services industry, ranging from asset and portfolio management in the private sector to capital market regulation and policy development in the public sector.

He is currently Vice President, Capital Market Sector of the Capital Market Authority, Oman and board member of the Technical Committee constituted under the National Committee for AML & CFT in the Sultanate of Oman, the Oman Sovereign Sukuk company SAOC, and of Muscat Clearing and Depository SAOC. He is Chairman of the Technical Auditors’ Advisory Committee, Oman.

Mohammed is an alumnus of IMD where he completed the Advanced Strategic Management Program and a Master Degree holder in Banking & Finance Law (LLM) from Queen Mary, University of London.
