I'm Finance MBA holder and have more than eighteen years of profound experience in the fields of Banking mainly Credit (Corporate, SME, & Retail), Risk assessment and Investment. Certified director from Jordan Institute of Directors/ IFC.
Iman Al-Damen is Cofounder and Chairwoman of Women on Boards-Jordan association .The newly born Association, September 2018, is created to support and inspire professional women to achieve their goals for the next level in their career across the kingdom of Jordan.
The foundation of my experience and competencies were driven from joining the restructuring and reengineering process in the banking sector in Jordan. From these tough experiences, I acquired the spirit of Challenge and the ability to work under pressure and the willingness to seek new concepts to improve the processes needed for growth and success.
The focus of my career has been firmly on national higher management, strategic planning and successfully managed very large seniors and juniors teams in a number of challenging environments.
Main achievements during my career, I took the lead to establish SMEs department in Cairo Amman Bank (CAB) in year 2006 that met the best practice in SMEs banking and CAB became the first bank to implement SMEs concept among Jordanian Banks. In 2008 I became a Chief Credit &Risk Officer in Capital Bank of Jordan as the first woman to occupy this position.
I am voluntarily key member for more than 20 years in different NGOs supporting women empowerment.
Iman is a Member of Jordanian National Forum for Women (Supreme Board), Vice president for Jordan Forum for Business and Professional Women working on Women Empowerment 2009-2017.
Member of OECD-MENA Women’s Business Forum and MENA-OECD Focus Group on gender and corporate leadership in MENA.
