Stephen Fisher is the Global Head of Government & Public Affairs at Deutsche Bank. The team Stephen leads is responsible for engaging governments, policymakers, and the industry around the world to create the best possible conditions for clients to thrive and to help them navigate geopolitical uncertainty. Deutsche Bank advocates for strong and competitive European banks; the responsible growth of capital markets; policies to fairly deliver the green transition; and innovation in payments and technology that benefits society.

Prior to joining Deutsche Bank, Stephen spent 13 years with BlackRock in Brussels and London, most recently as Co-Head of Public Policy in the EMEA region, which also included a significant focus on the Middle East. Stephen held several financial services regulatory policy roles in public service and in industry trade associations in the first decade of his career.
